What is Maine First Project, and why should you care?
Maine First Project was founded in 2015. The goal was to create a political and cultural environment in the Pine Tree State providing Mainers with the best chances at success and take Maine to unprecedented levels of freedom and success.
Over the years, Maine First Project has trained hundreds of activists and led the charge to kill bad bills in the legislature — and at the ballot box, hold candidates accountable for their records.
But far more work is needed.
Maine is in trouble. Serious trouble. Our once proud state, that helped elect Ronald Reagan president, is now home to some of the most radical Leftists in the country. We have elected socialists to public office, and we are being governed by an alphabet soup of aggrieved special-interest victim groups.
Leftist “progressive” politicians have declared war on Maine’s culture, economy, and constitutional system. Aided and abetted by their allies in academia and the media, they have already done enormous damage to our Maine way of life.
We need to get back to, Maine: The Way Life Should Be.
Maine First Project is committed to exposing the Left’s treachery, restoring constitutional government in Maine, and propelling its people from poverty to prosperity.
In this context, Maine First Project is best seen as a School of peaceful and patriotic Political and Cultural Warfare.
We are recruiting and training a grassroots army of activists to engage in confrontational politics, to fight fire with fire in the battle to restore Maine to its rightful place as the crown of New England, a beacon of liberty and prosperity.
